This is a song I wrote around 1981 and recorded in my living room through my stereo. I used one mike in for the vocal and acoustic guitar. Then I plugged my Gibson ES 335 into the same input and played the electric guitar part. No second takes, no effects, and no mixing. I later rewrote it with Zack VanArsdale in 1985. We did a fully instumented studio cut of it at Larry Butler's studio on Music Row in Nashville which Zack sang. I always liked this version and arrangement better :)
