I had a great time yesterday playing with Scott Welcker for The Savannah Friends Of Music annual cookout outside Statesboro. It was a beautiful day for it and the weather was perfect with a nice cool breeze to keep the gnats at bay. This is as hot as summer needs to get. It can stop right here..... but I am on my way back to Ocala today and I'm afraid summer is really starting to heat up down there. Happy Mother's Day to everyone out there who qualifies!!
